Note: transparent and semi-transparent colors (mostly glitters) may let the inner adhesive show through — check the color chart for which shades are transparent.
How to program your tag
- Pick your hardware (keychain or steel cable) and your colors at checkout
- When your tag arrives, download any free NFC writer app on your phone
- Write your emergency contact info to the chip — a phone number, contact card, or short medical note — then tap to test
- Need to update a number later? The chip is re-writable, so you can change it anytime

- What information can I store on the tag?
- Whatever emergency details you choose — most people store a parent or guardian phone number, a contact card, or a short medical note (allergies, conditions). You're in full control of what goes on the chip, and it's re-writable so you can update it anytime.
- Is it safe — can strangers see private info?
- You decide exactly what's stored. Many parents save only an emergency phone number rather than the child's name or address, so the info is only useful to someone who taps the tag to help. Store as much or as little as you're comfortable with.
- Does the tag come pre-programmed?
- No — you program it yourself so the emergency info is current and private to you. It's quick and easy, full directions are included, and there's a how-to video on our Instagram. We're glad to help if you get stuck.
- Is a name engraved on the flower?
- No. The flower is our signature design and the same for everyone — you choose the colors and program the chip with your emergency info. We don't laser a name onto the tag itself.
- Will it work with any phone?
- Most modern NFC-enabled smartphones can read the tag with a simple tap — no app required to read it. You'll just need a free NFC writer app once to program it.
- How long until I get it?
- Approximately 14 days for most orders, then it ships to you. Message us before ordering if you need it faster.
