Why UV printing beats screen printing
Most cheap online sign companies use screen printing — a process that requires a separate physical screen (stencil) for every single color in your design. That means a logo with 4 colors requires 4 screens, 4 passes through the press, and significant setup costs. It also means gradients, shadows, photos, and fine detail are either impossible or severely degraded.
UV printing is completely different. Your design is output directly from a digital file onto the sign surface using UV-cured inks that bond permanently to the material. No screens, no setup per color, no compromises on your artwork. Here's what that means in practice:
- Unlimited colors at no extra cost — screen printers charge more per color. UV prints your full logo in every color, including gradients and subtle tones, for the same price.
- Photo-quality reproduction — UV printing handles complex logos, realistic photos, and fine detail that screen printing simply cannot achieve.
